Global Mobility Program Specialist, Lead

The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about transforming the advancement of global mobility and corporate-sponsored immigration policies and programs for an International Operations center of excellence (COE) in supporting our client’s missions in international locations?

On our team, as a Lead Global Mobility Program Specialist, you will work closely with program leadership and core operations to analyze innovative Global Mobility and Immigration policies and solutions to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and process optimization at scale while ensuring customer-centered experiences. Policies include U.S. Domestic Relocation, International Assignment Relocation, Assignment Allowances, U.S. and Global Immigration, Tax Equalization, and Secondments. You will serve as a job leader to Global Mobility Specialists in support of consultation and advisory services.

You have success in scaling programs in high-growth companies leveraging data analytics for decision-making and developing automation for process optimization, preferably in U.S. government contracting under FAR compliance and commercial environments. You will ensure the analyis of our policies with fidelity, developing system repositories to memorialize precedence for exceptions or special circumstances. You will have success analyzing and organizing policies via Sharepoint or similar platforms and developing change management and communications for policy updates and changes. You will provide consultative advice and solutions to the enterprise and client-facing teams to explain and interpret policies for contract bids, ad hoc special scenarios, telework assessments, and exception requests. You will partner with Global Mobility Core Operations in policy to process integration, and training for Talent Acquisition, HR business partners, and other enterprise stakeholders.

As the Immigration Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will serve as the main point of contact for our employees requiring corporate immigration sponsorship; managing outside Immigration Counsel relationships, statement of work, and service level agreements to ensure our foreign national population who requires company sponsored U.S. non-immigrant visas, Green Cards and global visas/work permits receive customer-centered experiences.

You have:

  • 8+ years of experience with corporate Global Mobility and Immigration, including U.S. Domestic Relocation, International Assignments and Relocation, U.S. non-immigrant visas, including H1B and L visas, PERM, or global immigration
  • Experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, and training team members to lead their work
  • Experience in expatriate compensation, balance sheet approach, cost of living differential, housing, tax equalization, tax gross-up, foreign income exclusion, dependent education programs, use of cost-of-living tables and index, including State Department, Mercer or AirInc, cost projections, net to gross calculations, telework assessments, local packages, and secondments
  • Experience with managing RFPs for new vendors
  • Experience with using MS Office, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience in Workday
  • Knowledge of core-flex, points-based system, and innovative alternatives for relocation and allowance packages for U.S. government contracts and commercial assignments
  • Knowledge of digital platforms for project planning, including Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of system optimization
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in corporate global mobility and immigration program management, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in corporate global mobility and immigration program management

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
