Position Overview:
Are you dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of global mobility and corporate-sponsored immigration frameworks for an International Operations center of excellence (COE) that supports organizational missions across various international locations?
As a Lead Specialist in Global Mobility Programs, you will collaborate closely with program leadership and operational teams to evaluate and innovate Global Mobility and Immigration policies and strategies. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and streamlined processes while prioritizing customer-centered experiences. Key policies will encompass U.S. Domestic Relocation, International Assignment Relocation, Assignment Allowances, U.S. and Global Immigration, Tax Equalization, and Secondments. You will take on a leadership role for Global Mobility Specialists, providing essential consultation and advisory services.
Your expertise in scaling programs within rapidly growing organizations, utilizing data analytics for informed decision-making, and developing automation for process enhancement will be crucial. A background in U.S. government contracting under FAR compliance and commercial settings is preferred. You will ensure meticulous analysis of policies, creating system repositories to document precedents for exceptions or unique circumstances. Your proficiency in organizing policies through platforms like SharePoint and managing change communications for policy updates will be essential. Additionally, you will offer consultative guidance and solutions to enterprise and client-facing teams, clarifying and interpreting policies for contract proposals, special scenarios, telework evaluations, and exception requests. Collaboration with Global Mobility Core Operations will be vital for policy integration and training for Talent Acquisition, HR business partners, and other stakeholders.
Immigration Expertise:
As the Immigration Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be the primary contact for employees seeking corporate immigration sponsorship. This includes managing relationships with external Immigration Counsel, overseeing statements of work, and ensuring service level agreements are met to provide exceptional experiences for our foreign national workforce requiring company-sponsored U.S. non-immigrant visas, Green Cards, and global work permits.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in corporate Global Mobility and Immigration, covering U.S. Domestic Relocation, International Assignments, and U.S. non-immigrant visas such as H1B and L visas, PERM, or global immigration.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams, including coaching, mentoring, and training team members.
- In-depth knowledge of expatriate compensation, including balance sheet approaches, cost of living differentials, housing, tax equalization, and related programs.
- Experience managing RFPs for new service providers.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with Workday.
- Understanding of core-flex and points-based systems, as well as innovative alternatives for relocation and allowance packages in government contracts and commercial assignments.
- Knowledge of digital project planning tools, such as Smartsheet.
- Expertise in system optimization.
- High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience in corporate global mobility and immigration program management, or a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in scaling a Center-of-Excellence (COE) with standardized processes, operations, and policies, utilizing automation and self-service tools.
- Knowledge of FAR and government cost accounting.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Compensation:
Compensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000 annually. This estimate reflects the typical salary range and is part of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
