About the Accounts Payable Specialist position:
Our client is a long-standing leader in the Nonprofit & Family Services industry. They provide unwavering support and assistance to individuals and families in need within their community. They believe in the power of compassion, empathy, and empowerment to effect positive change. They are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

Essential Functions for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
  • Data entry of AP invoices
  • 3-way matching
  • Process weekly check runs by coding, obtaining approval, and administering payment
  • Reconciliations
  • Expense reimbursement
  • Process improvement
  • Act as backup for Accounts Receivable when necessary

Preferred Skills for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist should have excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Technologically savvy with ability to learn quickly
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communication and ability to work in a team as well as independently

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
