The Finance team safeguards Bridgewater's financial assets. We strive to enhance sustainable shareholder value by managing, protecting, and optimizing the firm's financial resources.

About the Role:


As an Accounting Specialist within the Finance team, you will play a vital role in Bridgewater's Corporate Accounting division, handling various responsibilities outlined below.

You will cultivate a diverse skill set and a breadth of knowledge that are highly valued across the Finance Department.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Corporate Accounting team in achieving monthly closing objectives
Prepare financial data for internal stakeholders
Oversee various aspects of the financial audit, involving direct interaction with external auditors and other departments within Bridgewater
Execute accounting processes across multiple balance sheet accounts
Address ad hoc requests as needed

We seek candidates with the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, with a strong academic background
CPA with 1-2 years of experience, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday, Office Connect, or Power Query is preferred
Physical Requirements

For most roles, Bridgewater offers flexible remote work options, with employees typically required to work on-site a minimum of two days per week, with the possibility of working offsite on other days.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000, inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80% - 90% of this range.
