PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Pricing Analyst supports a diverse and cross functional team in the development of compliant, responsive, and competitive proposals. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
â¢Â Â   Lead Cost Volume Responses in compliance with the RFP
â¢Â Â   Develop and lead pricing strategy from gate review to submittal
â¢Â Â   Shred RFPs for compliance matrix to capture all technical and cost elements
â¢Â Â   Interpret RFP requirements to delegate task and information to the appropriate functional areas
â¢Â Â   Create estimates of probability and likely costs 
â¢Â Â   Provide risk assessment and mitigation suggestions as it relates to the pricing strategy
â¢Â Â   Indirect Cost Pool Creation 
â¢Â Â   Rate Forecasting
â¢Â Â   Analyze historical pricing and past performance
â¢Â Â   Maintain clear and accurate files for audits and proposal back up
â¢Â Â   Coordinate proposal pricing activities among various departments including Program Management, Contracts, Business Development and Purchasing
â¢Â Â   Provide risk assessment of terms and conditions of potential contract award to ensure compatibility. Analyzes risk assessment and present alternative pricing scenarios to mitigate potential loss / risks
â¢Â Â   Maintain auditable files for proposals and cooperates with government audits and requests
â¢Â Â   Ensures disclosure of cost and pricing data and with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
â¢Â Â   Support fact-finding and negotiations
â¢Â Â   Maintain current knowledge base of federal acquisition regulations and customer requirements
â¢Â Â   Use mathematical and statistical methods to analyze fincial risk and accurately present those findings to various audiences 
â¢Â Â   Ensure compliance with federal, state and other related pricing laws, regulations and guidelines to minimize legal and financial exposure
â¢Â Â   Provide counsel and advice to proposal bid teams related to pricing strategy and other financial issues related to possible execution
â¢Â Â   Generate and present pricing packages for internal and external management reviews and submissions to customers
â¢Â Â   Research cost elements in order to assist Subject Matter Experts (SME) with proposal efforts
â¢Â Â   Maintain Pricing Files including documenting proposal assumptions and sources of data used as basis of estimates
â¢Â Â   Interact with corporate support offices related to various pricing issues such as insurance and taxes impacts
â¢Â Â   Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as FAR, DFAR, SBA, DOL, and other government regulations
â¢Â Â   Evaluation of Functional Inputs and assuring all requirements are proposed appropriately and are compliant with the Request for Proposal (RFP)
â¢Â Â   Generating and presenting pricing packages for internal and external management reviews and submissions to customers
â¢Â Â   Providing financial business case and risk assessment data to executive management
â¢Â Â   Maintain Pricing Files including documenting proposal assumptions and sources of data used as basis of estimates

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.Â
