This is a full time hybrid position located in Southern Connecticut. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team in Connecticut. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing their manufacturing processes related to radiation technology equipment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices or radiation technology. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, and testing. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for manufacturing. Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and regulatory standards (FDA, CE). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Project management experience and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Daily Responsibilities

Lead and manage the manufacturing process for radiation technology equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality assurance protocols to enhance efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with R&D, design engineering, and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA). Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve yield. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of process enhancements. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe and compliant manufacturing operations. Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth. Evaluate new technologies and manufacturing methods to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
