Responsibilities
- Work in the engineering department and closely with production, sales, quality and purchasing.
- Maintain process sheets, process drawings, and other necessary documents for Legacy Parts.
- Provide cause & corrective action to open issues.
- Read & understand necessary quality & manufacturing specifications.
- Make cleaning Work Orders from Sales Orders
- Make Solid Works models and PDF drawings
- Program CMM’s with DMIS software
- Effort continuous improvement by communicating with everyone
- Collaborate with team on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s)
- Maintain engineering files and drives
- Update and improve Setup Sheet inspection reports
- Responsible for new part Sales Order checklist
Skills/Experience
- Minimum three experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Highly proficient with SolidWorks required
- Experience with ERP, Microsoft Suite
- Experience in CNC programming preferred (Mastercam).
- Experience in advanced manufacturing techniques (CNC Lathe/Mill).
- Experience in tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, Statistical Measurements
