We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant II/III/Sr for our Houston, TX office.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 

In this role, you will provide a variety of administrative responsibilities in support of the Corporate Communications, Philanthropy and HR areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, handling mail, managing expense reporting, arranging travel, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, filing/copying, organizing paper and electronic documents, and processing invoices.
  • Support the development of Houston philanthropic and corporate employee events including venue booking, catering, AV equipment, and coordinating any other supplies or setup as needed.
  • Provide support to philanthropic efforts including tracking and providing periodic updates on regional spending and coordinating the communication of the scholarship and grant materials to appropriate leaders and employees.
  • Assist with employee communications such as articles, announcements or emails as needed.
  • Coordinate activities and other administrative tasks related to employee training such as orientation, leadership development, etc.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years in an administrative support position
  • Highly professional with strong customer service focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • High level of sensitivity to confidential information
  • Presents a positive professional image to internal/external stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute

  

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  •  High School Diploma

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Some college coursework
