We are seeking qualified candidates for the roles of General Clerk II and General Clerk III to provide essential office support services. The ideal candidates will maintain a close and responsive relationship with supervisors and staff, operate with a degree of independence, and perform various clerical and administrative tasks that require familiarity with office procedures and an understanding of the organization’s programs and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage telephone communications
- Coordinate appointments and schedules
- Facilitate visitor services
- Organize meetings, telecommunication services, and conference room scheduling
- Disseminate information effectively
- Order office supplies
- Handle copying, faxing, graphics requests, and photo services
- Oversee records management
- Provide data management services including:
- Desktop processing
- Tracking correspondence
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Collect time and labor data
- Manage property coordination
- Facilitate move coordination
- Organize training sessions
- Coordinate information services
- Plan special events
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
General Clerk II: 1-2 years of relevant office experience or equivalent.
General Clerk III: 2-4 years of relevant office experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing over 20 pounds
- Experience with NASA or related contracts is preferred, along with an active NASA badge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass criminal background and drug tests regularly
