We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant II/III/Sr for our Houston, TX office.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you will provide a variety of administrative responsibilities in support of the Corporate Communications, Philanthropy and HR areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:

+ Provide general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, handling mail, managing expense reporting, arranging travel, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, filing/copying, organizing paper and electronic documents, and processing invoices.

+ Support the development of Houston philanthropic and corporate employee events including venue booking, catering, AV equipment, and coordinating any other supplies or setup as needed.

+ Provide support to philanthropic efforts including tracking and providing periodic updates on regional spending and coordinating the communication of the scholarship and grant materials to appropriate leaders and employees.

+ Assist with employee communications such as articles, announcements or emails as needed.

+ Coordinate activities and other administrative tasks related to employee training such as orientation, leadership development, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

+ Minimum of 5 years in an administrative support position

+ Highly professional with strong customer service focus

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

+ Exceptional organizational skills

+ High level of sensitivity to confidential information

+ Presents a positive professional image to internal/external stakeholders

+ Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

+ High School Diploma

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

+ Some college coursework
