As a member of the Fuels and Lubricants team, you will lead the management of field test programs with commercial vehicle fleets, and support marketing activities in the Finished Lubricants business. In this role you will use excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with fleet owners and service managers, organizational skills to manage complex test programs, and marketing acumen to support the development and implementation of the business strategy and marketing plans. 

 

Travel is expected to be 20% of the time.

  • Being passionate about contributing to a team that delivers improved performance, efficiency, and sustainability to the transportation industry through innovation.
  • Managing field test programs by determining testing needs with a team of Technical Marketing Managers, including the number of units and unit specifications, securing required units for testing, and proactively leading team updates on the testing status.
  • Coordinating the field test sample process, including collection of samples, maintaining the sample analysis database, and analyzing data and reporting results to review with Technical Marketing Managers. 
  • Using exceptional interpersonal skills to develop and strengthen relationships with fleet managers, maintenance directors, service technicians and owner/operators, tiers and OEMs, and establish field test agreements with new fleets to support testing.
  • Optimizing all processes related to field testing and sample management to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Supporting key marketing functions including the development of strategic road maps and marketing plans; coordinating marketing activities via the Finished Lubricants web site, social media, and trade shows; collecting and distributing relevant market intelligence.

  • Have earned a bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, engineering or related field.
  • Possess experience in developing close relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Are proficient in managing and interpreting data with Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit to market Finished Lubricant products and improve processes.
  • Having experience in the transportation and/or chemical industry is a significant plus.
