Responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight of the Extended Care team of substance use counselors and peers. This position's focus is on the clinical development and professional growth of the clinical team to provide high quality services to the clients we serve. LADC, LCPC, and LCSW) with strong background in substance use treatment, clinical services delivery, clinical supervision and staff development with a minimum 1-3 years clinical supervisory experience. Possesses the ability to make sound clinical decisions independently, and an appreciation for when to seek supervision. Must work collaboratively with other staff, especially counseling and facility staff. Provides clinical supervision to OOB counselors, peers, interns, program administrator/case manager and trainees including orientation and training, individual and group supervision, and evaluation of performance, and all clinical documentation.
· Provides administrative supervision to Extended Care staff.
· Participates in the implementation and use of an electronic health record system.
· Participates in ongoing training and supervision in Motivational Interviewing modality.
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies, court system and law enforcement.
· Ensure the promotion of community awareness of Milestone and represents the organization professionally.
· Schedule and attend appropriate staff and in-service training meetings.
· Assists with recruitment, hiring, and training of staff and volunteers.
· Exercise confidentiality of client information, and models this with staff.
· Provide direct counseling services to clients to include screening, assessment, group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and referral to other services as appropriate.
· Operating basic office equipment in a normal office environment. May spend extended periods operating a desktop computer, requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity;
