ProSearch Maine is thrilled to announce a search for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join a dynamic organization. This pivotal role is essential for providing strategic oversight in financial management and human resources, contributing to the organization's mission and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial strategy, including cash management, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors, providing insights and updates on financial performance.
  • Manage finance personnel to guarantee timely financial close processes and audits.
  • Implement robust internal controls and procedures for financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with donor agreements and manage fund transfers.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional service to stakeholders, including donors and board members.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in non-profit financial management or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
  • Strong presentation skills for communicating financial information to leadership.
  • Experience in human resources management, including payroll and benefits administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to commute as needed.
