Job description
Our company is seeking a Territory / Dental Equipemnt Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with dental offices within Maryland,DC and Northern Virginia. The primary objective of this role is to drive sales and increase revenue by promoting and selling our dental products and services. This role is heavily focused on captial equipment sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, and office managers
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's dental products and services
- Meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Identify business needs of clients and maintain customer first mindset
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for dental professionals
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the territory
- Provide feedback to the company on customer needs, market trends, and competitive information
- Collaborate with other sales team members and cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
- Leverage both inbound leads and outbound email and phone campaigns
- Meet and exceed targets for setting appointments/demos, leading to closed business targets
- Participate in trade shows and events to promote the company's products and services
- Complete administrative tasks, such as sales reports, expense reports, and customer data management
- Travel around Maryland, DC, and Virginia
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred, but more importantly we are looking for hungry and driven individuals
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the dental or medical industry
- Capital equipment experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
- Valid driver's license
