Description:

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, utilizes statistical analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and validated planning parameters to disaggregate the demand plan and determine optimal inventory levels. Aligns the supply plan with the demand plan and drives stability in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):

Reports any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.

Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Engages in HSE training.

Quality:

Follows standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.

Performs quality checks on system planning parameters (min/max inventory levels, reorder points, tracking signals, etc.) and supports the Plan for Every Part (PFEP).

Delivery:

Performs supply and demand analysis, highlighting areas of concern for the next 12 months.

Assists in gathering and compiling information through primary and secondary research.

Runs planning parameter changes in simulation to analyze their impact on KPIs, providing detailed reports.

Monitors signals indicating abnormal demand or stock levels, adjusting planning parameters as needed.

Enters approved forecast adjustments to align with the aggregate demand plan.

Takes ownership of the disaggregate demand plan, supply plan, and inventory plan to support customer needs.

Demonstrates proficiency in core competencies.

Remains flexible, performing other duties as required to meet business goals.

Teamwork:

Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements and career goals.

Participates in improvement projects (quality, safety, process, material flow, etc.).

Master Supply Planning and Demand Disaggregation: Uses statistical analysis to ensure alignment of supply and demand plans, balancing supply chain tensions while achieving financial and service objectives.

Materials KPI Management: Evaluates supply chain performance, interprets KPIs to understand customer impact, and strategically influences KPIs.

Materials Master Data Management: Ensures the integrity of master data (BOMs, planner codes, etc.), improving data quality feeding into the supply and demand plan.

Materials Planning Parameters: Aligns parameters (MOQ, lead time, part cost, etc.) to balance supply and demand, analyzing impacts on customer delivery and inventory.

Materials Planning System Utilization: Leverages the materials planning system to manage supply and demand plans, occasionally using adhoc tools for problem-solving.

Plan for Every Part (PFEP): Applies PFEP principles across the supply chain to ensure timely, accurate delivery of parts, with a focus on master data management, planning parameters, and engineered material flows.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

May require licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations compliance.

Experience:

Requires some work experience and intermediate knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
