Sales Director
CRG is partnered with a family-owned, employee-focused distribution client within the building materials industry that is seeking a Sales Director to join their team. The Sales Director will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of inspiring and leading a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company???s objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive strategic initiatives to achieve long-term business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to reach and exceed targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Set clear performance metrics and benchmarks for the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee high-level negotiations and ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and drive market penetration.
  • Drive revenue generation by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategic opportunities. 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth.
  • Experience in building material industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor???s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
