Employment Type: Contract/ Remote

Pay rate: $36-$42/hr, DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with employees, managers, recruiters and other internal teams to provide guidance and clarity on processes related to immigration, relocation and global moves by responding to basic questions submitted to the team
  • Initiate and manage immigration cases and shepherd visa assessments in partnership with immigration counsel
  • Initiate cases with our relocation partners and stay in close contact with employees and recruiters during processing to ensure a smooth transition
  • Execute basic data transactions in Workday, our HRIS system, to keep our data accurate and compliant
  • Provide employee information to our accounting teams for invoice processing and ensure our billing process is accurate
  • Work closely with vendors and other suppliers to ensure appropriate service levels are met in support of relocation goals.
  • Maintain mobility and immigration trackers and process documentation regarding international assignments, relocations, or immigration programs
  • Support the Global Mobility team with international assignment and permanent transfer related action items
  • Work collaboratively with the Global Mobility team on case initiations and questions
  • Provide general administrative support to the Global Mobility team as needed
  • Maintain Workday data for mobility and immigration matters (e.g. entering in certificate of coverage dates, visa type and expiration, assignment letters, etc.)
  • Act as the contact point for right to work escalation questions from the People Care team
  • Maintain employee facing documents, process documents for recruiters + HRBPs, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ year of general HR experience; ideally 2 years of experience in immigration, global mobility, or relocation management at a fast paced, multinational organization
  • 2+ years of experience with vendor coordination to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity using HRIS tools (Workday preferred) and the ability to create, review and leverage data from exports, dashboards, etc. from the HRIS tool.
  • Process driven, outstanding communication skills, strong initiative and follow-up, and a customer-service oriented mindset are essential to this role
  • Ability to move quickly, independently manage daily work, and meet specified work deadlines
  • Acute attention to detail with the keen ability to spot data errors and bring them to resolution
  • Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to leverage technology tools to create efficiency, improve processes and client experience
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to reach a resolution
  • Experience reviewing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Proficient in Google suite applications including Doc, Sheets, and Slides
  • Proficient in MS Office suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and being a productive team player
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Desire to learn new areas and skills based on rapidly changing business environment and global growth
  • Proven ability to work with diverse employee populations and evaluate varying needs
