Job Summary:
l The R&D facilities coordinator reports to the head of the PIC and is responsible for the daily oversight of supporting systems required to keep the PIC facility operational.
l This non-laboratory-based role is responsible for vendor interactions, independent and in coordination with ABM.
l This role will be the first line of contact for landlord provided services.
l They are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of owned assets that are integral to the PIC, which includes but is not limited to creating PM schedule, supporting service requests, etc. Upkeep and receipt of the supply's packages being delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
l Provides oversight and planning of owned facility systems, RO system, process gasses, etc. Will create and keep a schedule of systems maintenance needs. Will coordinate with vendors to have preventative maintenance completed as needed. Will support operation and service of these systems.
l Responsible for the coordination of ABM supplied cleaning and maintenance of the PIC facility. Including, but not limited to office cleaning, labcoat services, waste management.
l Responsible for the primary point of contact with Kane Tenant Portal for landlord service requests.
l Ownership of the receiving duties for all incoming packages, ensuring receipt and delivery to the lab.
l May be responsible for procurement of office and laboratory supplies.
l Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, Experience:
l Associates, Facility Management or related field.
l Building Upkeep, Advanced - 5-10 years
l Team Player with exceptional customer service skills, integrity and ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
l Requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as problem analysis and resolution.
l Must be motivated and self initiator willing to take on new challenges.
l Supports a culture of process improvement and problem solving
l Expresses ideas that will improve his/her business area
l Generously shares information and knowledge with others on team
l Demonstrates an openness to different perspectives by balancing listening and speaking
l Demonstrates persistence and motivation to overcome obstacles and challenges
l Ensures quality standards are maintained while delivering results
l Plans, prioritizes and organizes work to deliver on time
l Ability to travel up to 10%.
l Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Quality Responsibility:
l Adherence to cGMPs is required at all times during the manufacture of APIs.
l All personnel own the quality of what they deliver and are responsible for notifying responsible management in a timely manner of regulatory inspections, serious GMP deficiencies, process deviations, product defects and related actions.
Mental Demands:
l Ability to understand, remember and execute complex instructions with minimal guidance
l Ability to maintain attention and concentration
l Ability to exercise flexibility in decision making
l Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with customers, supervisors and co-workers
l Ability to examine and evaluate data
