Position Overview
The Intercultural Affairs Office Assistant will assist in the continued enhancement of a campus culture of respect and affirmation. The position is designed to provide the learner with experience and knowledge in social justice, diversity, and inclusion as well as transferable skills essential for successful leadership beyond graduation. Additionally, the Office Assistant will develop skills in administration, programming, critical thinking, and problem solving. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities
We seek Office Assistants who can commit to working between 11am-4:30pm.

General responsibilities of the Office Assistant include the following:
• Program Planning:
o Assist with planning of academic year programming, including heritage month programs, trainings
o Create and develop advertising and marketing for programs
o Create and manage bulletin boards for heritage months
• Office Outreach and Visibility:
o Represent the Office of Intercultural Affairs at college-wide events (i.e. Fall Open Houses, Skyhawk Welcome Days, Activities Fairs)
• Office Administration:
o Provide office oversight in conjunction with the Administrative Assistant: Answer phones, check Intercultural Affairs email account daily, greet guests, ensure welcoming and tidy office space, etc.
• Social Media:
o Plan, develop, and manage social media campaigns and posts
o Create dynamic content for all social media postings for programs, events, office updates, etc
o Increase follower engagement on all social media platforms
o Measure success of each social media campaign
o Monitor, interact, like, comment, answer questions
o Design and create engaging posters/flyers for poster campaigns around campus to market events
o Educate the team on new trends and social media applications
Qualifications
Successful candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:
• Current Stonehill College student in good academic (minimum 2.0 GPA) and judicial standing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Solid experience with using social media platforms
• Experience in engaging in diversity conversations and leadership experiences
• Familiarity with event planning/programming
• Knowledge of PC computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Demonstrated integrity, initiative, openness, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
