The Cultural Affairs Administrative Support will play a crucial role in promoting a campus culture characterized by respect and affirmation.

Moreover, the Office Assistant will enhance their abilities in administration, event coordination, analytical thinking, and problem resolution.


Key Responsibilities

We are looking for Office Assistants who can commit to working during the hours of 11am to 4:30pm.

The primary responsibilities of the Office Assistant include:


  • Event Coordination:
    Assist in the organization of programming throughout the academic year, including events for heritage months and training sessions.
    Create and design promotional materials for various programs.
    Manage bulletin boards to highlight heritage month activities.
  • Office Representation:
    Act as a representative for the Intercultural Affairs Office at campus-wide events.
  • Administrative Support:
    Provide administrative assistance alongside the Administrative Assistant, including managing communications and maintaining a welcoming office environment.
  • Digital Engagement:
    Plan and execute social media strategies, creating engaging content for various platforms.
    Enhance follower interaction and assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives.
    Design promotional materials for campus events and educate the team on emerging social media trends.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Current student at Stonehill College with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and in good standing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using various social media platforms.
  • Experience in engaging with diversity topics and leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with event planning and programming.
  • Competence in using PC systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exhibit integrity, initiative, collaboration, and a positive demeanor.
