DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the successful implementation of Agile methodologies within the federal agency and different projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and alignment with project goals.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Agile teams by providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Monitor project progress and team performance using Agile metrics and tools, identifying and addressing any impediments or risks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the federal agency, the contracting company, and other relevant parties.
  • Coordinate Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, to ensure teams remain focused and aligned with project objectives.
  • Facilitate the adoption of Agile principles and practices across the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, policies, and standards while adapting Agile practices to meet the unique needs and constraints of the federal agency environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Agile environments, with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role, preferably within federal or government contracting settings.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and scaling Agile practices in diverse project environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor cross-functional teams, as well as to facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops effectively.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.
