Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the development team by articulating the vision to an Agile or Scrum team, prioritizing tasks based on their business impact.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs are addressed in the release, while collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Oversee the business elements of the project, ensuring the correct product is developed in the appropriate sequence, within budget and on schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Agile or Scrum team regarding information flow, task prioritization, and decision-making processes.
- Manage and oversee the Scrum process from initiation to delivery.
- Facilitate communication between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure all objectives and requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure team members are aligned with project goals.
- Maintain the product backlog and release plan, enhancing productivity by organizing meetings and eliminating obstacles that may hinder the team's sprint objectives.
- Foster adaptability and a quick response to changes, serving as the facilitator for an agile development team.
- Implement Scrum methodology to enable the team to self-organize and make swift adjustments in line with agile principles.
- Manage the process of information exchange within the team.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 9 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 3 years with a PhD. Four years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance (i.e., CBP Full BI).
- Proven experience in the role of Scrum Master.
- Preferred: Customer and Border Protection (CBP) Full BI.
- Preferred: One or more Cloud Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Google, AWS).
- Preferred: Scrum Master certification.
