Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide the development process by articulating the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, prioritizing tasks based on business impact.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs are incorporated into the release, while collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Oversee the business dimensions of the project, ensuring the right product is developed in the correct sequence, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Agile or Scrum delivery team regarding information, prioritization of work, and decision-making.
  • Facilitate and supervise the Scrum process from initiation to delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison among the product owner, development team, and management to ensure all objectives and requirements are fulfilled.
  • Ensure team members are aligned with project goals.
  • Maintain the product backlog and release plan, enhancing productivity by organizing meetings and eliminating obstacles that may hinder the team's sprint objectives.
  • Uphold flexibility and the capacity to swiftly adapt to changes, acting as the facilitator for an agile development team.
  • Manage the process of information exchange within the Scrum framework.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 9 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 3 years with a PhD. Four years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance (i.e., CBP Full BI).
  • Proven experience in the role of Scrum Master.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preference for candidates with Customer and Border Protection (CBP) Full BI clearance.
  • One or more Cloud Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Google, AWS) are preferred.
  • Scrum Master certification is preferred.
