As the Technical Project Manager, you will be pivotal in fostering effective communication and collaboration within your team(s). Your role will involve steering Agile methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery while promoting ongoing team enhancement. You will enhance team productivity by addressing obstacles that may hinder the achievement of team objectives and by maintaining the flexibility to swiftly adapt to changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and fellow Technical Project Managers to facilitate Data development delivery.
  • Assist the Data Organization in managing the work-intake triage process to ensure timely responses to new requests in line with service level agreements.
  • Establish and maintain Programs, Epics, and Stories in Jira to effectively oversee the team's workflow until completion.
  • Define project delivery commitments and assess impacts stemming from changing priorities and resource availability.
  • Coordinate inter-team dependencies with other Scrum Masters.
  • Monitor and report on team velocity, manage Sprint capacity, and ensure the team is efficiently progressing towards Sprint objectives.
  • Address or escalate blocking issues as necessary.
  • Organize and lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint and release planning, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint demonstrations, retrospectives, and other process-related meetings.
  • Facilitate teams in diagnosing and resolving production support challenges that require cross-team collaboration, particularly those affecting customers.
  • Work alongside Development Managers to oversee team capacity.
  • Guide the development team and stakeholders in adhering to Data Organization processes and practices, ensuring effective implementation. Recommend enhancements and assist in the transition to best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical PM or Scrum Master capacity, preferably in a technically demanding and intricate environment.
  • Proven experience managing multiple scrum teams across global locations.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in supporting technical agile data engineering and platform initiatives within a cloud-based setting.
  • Strong team player with the capability to influence, negotiate, and articulate technical challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business intelligence, analytics, or engineering – or equivalent professional experience.
  • Scrum Master/Agile certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS, Databricks, Salesforce Data Cloud.
