Agile Project Leader

The Opportunity:

As an Agile Project Leader, you understand the significance of Agile methodologies and the proactive measures needed to address challenges promptly. We seek an Agile Project Leader like you to assist in achieving essential objectives that will enhance our client's cyber security framework.

Within our team, you will apply industry-leading practices to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary, and large-scale client issues. You will work both independently and as a vital member of a contract delivery leadership group. Your role will involve overseeing and assessing performance across various disciplines and, when necessary, implementing solutions to resolve challenges. You will provide expert advice and direction to senior-level technicians and managers from both Government and Vendor sectors, guiding multiple contractor and subcontractor teams to successful project completion. As an Agile Project Leader, you will expand your expertise in tactical planning and execution while contributing to diverse project solutions aimed at enhancing data protection and security for our clients.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile project management, lean development principles, and Scrum methodologies, including point estimations, sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Experience in prioritizing tasks for multiple teams operating on separate workstreams to accelerate the delivery of project milestones and feature releases.
  • Experience in resolving conflicts related to sprint goals and requirements as needed.
  • Experience in utilizing analytical tools to assess Epic, Feature, and Story data, driving high performance across teams.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code/Configuration as Code.
  • Experience in leading teams, client delivery, and facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • High School diploma or GED with 12+ years of experience in cyber engineering projects, Associate's degree with 10+ years, Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • DoD M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD M Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND within 30 days of starting.

  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Risk Management Framework.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree is a plus.
  • ICAgile Certified Professional, ScrumAlliance Certified Scrum Master, PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner, or SAFe Program Consultant Certification.
