Founded in 1972, Inventory Sales Company is a premier distributor of all types of fasteners, strut channel and fittings, sign hardware and weld studs. We are service driven at ISC by having short lead times, a wide selection of products, and customized inventory programs.
Strategic Account Manager
Responsibilities - Marketing
- The Key Account Manager will support our marketing efforts with our strategic accounts both through digital and traditional marketing methods.
- Conducts market research to understand the competitive position for the company's products and the market dynamics.
- Develops marketing strategies and priorities for Strategic Accounts.
- Market segment targeting, including business development
- Product positioning
- Manages the introduction of new products into strategic accounts
- Selection, development and implementation of programs and incentives which drive incremental sales.
- Works with marketing and creative while overseeing the development and preparation of product literature and graphics.
- Represents the company within industry organizations as needed.
Responsibilities - Strategic Accounts
- Leads, manages, and directs focus on a defined set of Strategic Accounts
- Develops and maintains strong relationships at all levels of our largest customers including but not limited to strategic sourcing, engineering, marketing, production, operations, and field implementation teams
- Manages all sales operations including business plan development and execution, forecasting (for both sales and ops purposes), customer new product development and support,
- Reviews and analyzes results against performance targets and objectives to determine effectiveness and areas for improvement
- Prepares quarterly reports detailing customer activity, trends, issues, and opportunities
- Frequently assesses share gain opportunities, end user conversion targets (if applicable), competitive product and marketing activities and new product penetration
- Develops and implements a robust business to business communications program for all Strategic Accounts

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Analyst or Market Research.
- Marketing experience in the fastener industry with a focus on construction would be an advantage.
