About this opportunity:

Ericsson is seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Manager to join our team in Plano, Texas. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with our clients. Your focus will be on driving sales and contributing to the growth of our business in the competitive telecommunications industry. This is an excellent opportunity for early career professionals with 1-3 years of sales experience to take their career to the next level and thrive in a supportive and innovative environment.


In this role, you would develop both internal and external relation/s in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful. This job role could be focused on selling a specific part of the portfolio, a specific part of the customer’s business/technology area and/or geography. 


If chosen for this role, you have the chance to be part of Ericsson’s management trainee program, within the first year of employment. This includes global rotation special assignments in other countries and domains to develop specific skillsets to grow in the organization.
 

What you will do:

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, understanding their needs and challenges. Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through effective prospecting and lead generation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, marketing, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. Oversee optimization of the account team’s performance and to enable seamless transition to operations.  Leverage your sales expertise to present Ericsson's products and solutions effectively, demonstrating how they align with client needs. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to proactively address client concerns and position Ericsson as a preferred partner. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, contributing to the overall sales strategy and business development initiatives.
 

The skills you bring:

Bachelor of Business Administration or Engineering, Master of Science, MBA or similar 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry. Strong understanding of technology, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, preferably in the telecommunications. Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
