As Portfolio Sales Professional for the Analytical Products & Integration business, you will be responsible for all sales and account management activities for the MAXUM II GC and related systems integration in the Houston Ship Channel, Deer Park, and Baytown areas.

In this role you will:

Maintain and expand relationships with Customers in the designated region. Build and leverage relationships across the enterprise in functional areas such as Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Maintenance where the objective is to maximize the sale of API products and projects. Act as main point of contact in all account related matters. Provide accurate and timely information via CRM for forecasts and planning. Analyze and evaluate markets (both technology and product portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers. Investigate and evaluate specific business opportunities for the customer related project/product and service portfolio in assigned territory. Prepare customer contacts, build, and maintain a customer focused network. Prepare and negotiate projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management. Complete sales and revenue related key reporting.

Expectations:

The incumbent must meet both requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field (Chemistry, Engineering, Physics) or equivalent work experience. 10 plus years’ experience working in related industries (Petroleum, Petrochem, etc.)

To be successful in this role, you must have an in depth understanding of:

Process Gas Chromatography, competing analytical techniques and Sample Conditioning Systems Application of process analyzers in O&G related industries Chemical processes in related industries. Finance as related to plant/project operations Understanding Customer CAPEX and OPEX investment cycle and Project development. Understand Commercial and Legal aspects of Project execution. Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others. Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office

This position requires a valid driver’s license. The position will be primarily in the Houston, TX Ship Channel/Deer Park/Baytown area. Relocation is not offered for this position.
