Account Manager, Partnership Activation

- Serve as activation specialist for assigned partnership accounts, working independently and/or with Account Managers to plan, execute, track, and provide reporting on all assigned partners' contractual elements
- Develop relationships with assigned partners through touch point meetings, phone calls, and partner events
- Develop and manage sales book of business for media portfolio, managing client relationships from initial contact through execution
- In collaboration with assigned sales managers/directors, achieve retention targets and goals
- Plan various corporate partnership activations, including but not limited to, in-game promotions, events, in-market activations, and partner marketing campaigns
- Assist with preparing department documents including partner playbooks, mid-season updates, end of season recaps, expense reports, budgets, and contracts
- Serve as an internal liaison and execute processes as assigned
- Utilize CRM system to track all activity related to partners including deal points, financials, client profiles and client interactions
- Assist with event day department responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 3-4 years of similar sponsorship, marketing or agency experience
- Customer service and sales oriented with proven experience building strong client relationships
- Possess integrity as well as a strong sense of morals and ethics
- Proactive individual with passion for the role and driven for career success
- Works well in a team environment and is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and outside contacts
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
- Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Can prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
- Dependable and consistently at work on time
- Follows instructions and responds to managers
- Ability to sell incremental programs to existing partners
- Adapts to change in the work environment and handles competing demands
- Delivers work by or ahead of deadline and thrive within a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous agency or in a team experience.
- Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds
- Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
- Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
- Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to walk steps to visit fans during games
- Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, dining room, etc.
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
