About the Role

The Family Partnership is seeking a skilled PRIDE Case Manager to provide support and advocacy services to individuals who are victims of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, or prostitution. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to provide crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy services, connecting them with community resources and assisting them in using these resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct support and process groups for youth, young adults, and adults who are survivors of sex trafficking, both in-house and in corrections facilities.
  • Provide crisis intervention, support, information, referral, and case management services in-person and over the phone, with regular travel to meet clients in the community.
  • Connect clients with community resources and assist them in using these resources.
  • Assist clients in creating safety and goal plans and monitor their progress regularly.
  • Provide court advocacy as needed.
  • Maintain partnerships with law enforcement and assist partners with detail operations related to victims of sex trafficking.
  • Provide transportation to clients as needed.
  • Assist with creating transition and release plans for currently incarcerated clients who are not currently working with any other services.
  • Assist clients in obtaining and maintaining housing.
  • Coordinate services between clients, probation officers, social workers, treatment centers, shelter teams, therapists, and medical professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or a related field, or four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care and working with survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
  • Experience with direct practice work with women and teens who have experienced trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, and prostitution.
  • Two years of experience engaging and mentoring youth, preferably.
  • Working knowledge of legislation related to victims of sex trafficking, such as VAWA and TVPA.
  • Working knowledge of the criminal justice and court systems.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed.
  • Ability to write in English sufficiently to provide correct grammar in client case notes and written documents.
  • Skilled in facilitating groups with women of diverse ages and ability levels.
  • Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and ability to meet TFP's driving record requirements.
