Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Business Analyst with a strong focus on systems skills to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system integration, data analysis, and process improvement. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Translate business needs into technical specifications and system requirements. System Integration: Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure. Identify and address any potential system compatibility issues. Develop and maintain integration documentation and diagrams. Data Analysis and Management: Analyze data to support business decision-making and identify trends and insights. Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems. Develop and maintain data models and reporting tools. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements. Design and implement process improvement initiatives. Monitor and measure the impact of process changes. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders. Identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, requirements, and changes. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system users. Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues. Build strong relationships with business units to understand their needs and challenges. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on systems and technology; leading large-scale IT projects, preferably within the public sector or criminal justice domain. Strong understanding of system integration, data analysis, and process improvement methodologies. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data management and analysis tools. Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
