The position plays a key role partnering with the Senior Director of Global Merch Finance & Line Planning and the VP of Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in running complex analyses to help inform business decisions and supporting the ongoing global rollout of the new integrated business planning process. This role is expected to work independently to identify the data and specific approach required to answer complex business questions. They will work extensively with cross-functional global, regional, and corporate finance and planning team members and are expected to independently drive analyses to their logical conclusion. They will derive key insights and advocate for specific actions required to craft an efficient Global Integrated Business Planning Process. The position plays a lead role in ensuring ongoing data integrity for the Global Planning team and establishing standards for regular global reporting. They will be responsible for prioritizing reporting requests from a multitude of stakeholders, including Business Units (BU) and Product Finance. They will also determine the best formats and data points to create standardized reporting views that speak to the needs of those groups. Critical thinking will be key for validating data accuracy in TM1 models and troubleshooting data issues independently. They will propose and complete special projects and be a key driver in the rollout of the Global IBP process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of the role data plays in driving Global IBP strategy and informing business decisions. What You’ll Do Global Integrated Business Planning Process Consult with BUs and Product Finance to determine pre-season & in-season data/reporting needs and the most impactful ways to deliver the requested information and insights. Evaluate and recommend priorities for action to the Global Merch Finance & Planning Lead. Independently drive requested analyses to inform critical business decisions. Drive creation of monthly reporting and analysis required to inform monthly global S&OP process. Facilitate monthly global S&OP process by building inventory analysis reports for Global Merch Finance & Planning Lead. Make recommendations and enhancements related to ongoing inventory analysis and management. From ongoing seasonal consultations, build a library of standardized and self-service reporting views that fulfill existing BU reporting needs and anticipate future requirements. Validate data accuracy in TM1 models, SnowFlake database & troubleshoot data issues. Manage the Global Integrated Business Planning Calendar; proactively addressing any issues/conflicts which may cause delays, ensuring calendar remains accurate and up-to-date. Take on special projects, make recommendations, and build buy-in related to the Global IBP process rollout, including ongoing global change management communication, IBP training materials development, leading global IBP training sessions, and follow-ups on data submission deadlines. Proficiency in data validation and troubleshooting techniques is necessary to ensure data accuracy. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests are important in managing data integrity and supporting reporting needs. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also necessary for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of financial planning systems, such as TM1, is valuable. Expert knowledge of Excel is required with proficiency in Tableau and PowerPoint. Hiring Range: $115,000 to $125,000 Pay Range: $100,320 to $150,480 At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys.
