Description du poste

Le (la) partenaire en TI a pour responsabilit gnrale d'interagir de manire stratgique avec les units oprationnelles qui lui sont attribues aux fins du dveloppement de la stratgie technologique commerciale, de la recherche de solutions, de la gestion des services, de la gestion des risques et de la gestion des relations d'affaires.

Ce rle volue vers un statut de " conseiller ou conseillre de confiance " et devient la personne de rfrence pour les cadres et les gestionnaires dans le secteur Finances. Cette fonction garantit galement l'intgration efficace de solutions, de technologies et d'applications innovantes afin de renforcer les processus oprationnels.

En outre, un (une) partenaire en TI performant(e) favorisera un esprit de collaboration entre les quipes de prestation de services informatiques et les autres responsables des partenaires commerciaux, renforant ainsi une organisation informatique unifie qui fournit des services informatiques de premier ordre l'entreprise. C'est dans cette optique que nous jouons un rle essentiel en garantissant cette unit et cette excellence.

En tant que responsable de personnes, vous inspirerez vos subordonns directs et favoriserez un environnement qui attire, fidlise et dveloppe les talents informatiques afin d'assurer une relve et une croissance harmonieuses au sein du service des TI.

En plus des responsabilits de partenaire en TI, le (la) candidat(e) ce poste sera galement charg(e) d'apporter son expertise en matire d'analyse commerciale des projets cruciaux pour l'entreprise et de veiller l'alignement sur les normes de la compagnie.

Activits principales
  • Faire office de point de contact unique et d'agent(e) de liaison principal(e) dans les domaines fonctionnels qui vous sont attribus, y compris les units oprationnelles, le service des TI et les fournisseurs externes.
  • Travailler en troite collaboration avec les responsables des diffrents secteurs d'activit pour distinguer et classer les occasions tout en laborant des concepts de solution et des arguments convaincants en faveur d'investissements potentiels.
  • Effectuer des analyses commerciales et prparer des recommandations et des plans d'affaires, le cas chant.
  • Crer et analyser des informations pertinentes, et laborer des recommandations prsenter l'quipe de direction.
  • Possder une connaissance tendue de la plupart des ressources techniques et commerciales, et les utiliser pour coordonner efficacement les membres de l'quipe et les ressources externes.
  • Crer une vision commune de leurs solutions respectives et faciliter la prise de dcision et les arbitrages relatifs aux compromis la fois au sein et entre les diffrentes plateformes de solutions.
  • laborer et mettre en uvre un raisonnement solide pour la gestion du portefeuille et la coordination des plans d'application et de retrait progressifs des produits, en anticipant de manire proactive les lacunes et les chevauchements au sein du portefeuille.
  • Crer un consensus avec d'autres fonctions quant au calendrier d'introduction et de retrait des solutions.
  • Superviser le lancement des solutions et contribuer maximiser leur impact positif sur l'organisation.
  • Identifier, slectionner et valuer de nouvelles possibilits de solutions pour rpondre aux besoins non satisfaits des clients (internes et externes).
  • Travailler en partenariat avec des membres cls du personnel pour crer des plans d'affaires stratgiques.
  • Possder de solides comptences analytiques, y compris une comprhension de l'conomie d'entreprise et des ressources financires.
  • Utiliser les technologies appropries et veiller ce que les clients disposent des solutions dont ils ont besoin, au moment o ils en ont besoin, et sur les supports les mieux adapts leurs exigences.
  • Collaborer avec les quipes d'architecture et d'exploitation pour garantir que les solutions s'alignent sur les lignes directrices tablies de la compagnie.
  • Collaborer avec le bureau de gestion des projets sur le processus d'admission et la hirarchisation des projets candidats dans l'ensemble de la compagnie.
Connaissances et comptences ncessaires

Scolarit et diplmes

Baccalaurat en informatique, en administration des affaires, en finances ou niveau d'tudes quivalent.

Comptences techniques et exprience
  • 8 10 ans d'exprience combine en TI et en finances, avec une expertise avre dans l'utilisation stratgique des amliorations aux processus et des TI en tant que catalyseur des initiatives et des solutions d'affaires.
  • Connaissances tendues et approfondies des processus et des technologies de la finance.
  • Exprience en tablissement de stratgie informatique ou d'affaires et en harmonisation des TI aux stratgies d'affaires.
  • Exprience dans un environnement financier et d'autres activits connexes.
  • Exprience avec SAP souhaite.
  • Exprience de la direction d'quipes, tant avec du personnel direct qu'avec des quipes de projet indirectes.
  • Comptences exceptionnelles en rdaction et prsentation orale, capacit grer les interactions tous les chelons de l'entreprise.
  • Bilinguisme (franais et anglais).

Job Summary

The IT Business Partner has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with their assigned business units for business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.

This role flourishes as a "trusted advisor" and becomes the go-to contact for executives and managers within the Finance areas. It also ensures the effective incorporation of innovative solutions, technologies, and applications to bolster business processes.

Furthermore, a successful IT BP will foster a spirit of collaboration across IT service delivery teams and other Business Partner Managers, thereby strengthening a unified IT organization that provides top-tier IT services to the business. In this endeavour, we play a pivotal role in ensuring this unity and excellence.

As a leader of people, you will inspire your direct reports, and support an environment that attracts, retains, and grows IT talent to ensure seamless succession and growth for the department.

In addition to the IT BP responsibilities, the candidate in this role will also be responsible for providing their business analysis expertise to business-critical projects and ensure alignment with company standards.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact and the key liaison across your assigned functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors.
  • Work closely with leaders across various business lines to distinguish and rank opportunities while crafting solution concepts and compelling arguments for potential investments.
  • Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed.
  • Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations to present to senior management.
  • Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members and external resources.
  • Create a shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision-making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.
  • Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and coordinating product phase-in-phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio.
  • Create a consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals.
  • Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization.
  • Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs.
  • Partner with key staff members to create strategic business plans.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.
  • Utilize the appropriate technologies and ensure that customers have the solutions they need - when they need them, and in the media best suited to their requirements.
  • Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to guarantee that solutions align with the established guidelines of the company.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company.
Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certificates

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, business administration, finance or equivalent level of education

Technical Skills & Experience
  • 8-10 years of combined IT and Finance experience with demonstrated expertise in the strategic use of process improvements and IT as an enabler of business initiatives and business solutions.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of Finance business processes and technologies.
  • Experience in setting IT or business strategy and business IT alignment.
  • Experience within a financial environment and other related businesses.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Experience leading teams - both with direct staff and indirect project teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, able to handle interactions at all levels of business.
  • Bilingual - French and English

  • Must be a well-organized individual, capable of juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
