Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Administrative Assistant to Perform a variety of administrative activities in support of human resources to include establishing and maintaining files, receiving, referring, and answering mail. The Administrative Assistant reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage and verification with military records, updates project and program documentation and files documents in appropriate locations. The candidate also Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignments. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. position will be located in San Antonio, TX and will be a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain access to various DoD and USAF databases and systems of record, such as, but not limited to Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), Base Level Service Delivery Model (BLSDM), Personnel Records Display Application (PRDA), Case Management System (CMS), Assignment Management System (AMS), Virtual Personnel Center (vPC), and associated Unit SharePoint Folders. The Government will provide access to the IT systems.
• Performs general clerical and administrative duties to include but not limited to: e-mailing, filing, and updating files as required.
• Schedules front office leadership appointments, provides information to callers.
• Generates reports, handles projects as assigned.
• Prepares, reviews presentations, awards EPR/OPRs for Commanders Signature.
• In & Out-Process members from unit. Prepare weekly Staff meeting slides.
• Authorize personnel leave in LeaveWEB. Assist with unit urinalysis.
• Creates and modifies documents, spreadsheets and presentations using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Schedules and coordinates meetings.
• Sorts and distributes e-mail. Drafts written responses or replies by phone or email when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.
• Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside contacts, including high-level staff members.
• Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
• Primary management and oversight of organizations taskers

Qualifications

High School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience)

Clearance Required: TS/SCI



Required Skills and Experience

Interpersonal and professional; oral and written communication skills required. Proficient in MS office suite Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. High School Graduate


Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience working with DoD Experience with SharePoint 5-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
