This is PRN position for day shift 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Are you passionate about helping others, struggling with addiction? Would you like to be part of a great team with high energy and fantastic benefits, making a difference in others' lives? Compass Health Network has a great opportunity for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at our inpatient/ outpatient substance use treatment facility. Individuals within this role will oversee clients' safety and well-being, using Compass Champion Behavior. These individuals must have effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage clients in group education to assist with recovery process
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license is required. The DSP will transport client as clinically indicated
  • Monitor clients as they self-administer medication
  • Collect and process Urine Drug Screenings
  • Respond accordingly to a crisis situation as they arise

On-site training provided.

High School/GED preferred

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's licensed by the end of 60-day introductory period required
