Description:

Position Overview:

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled and dedicated Workstation Systems Support Technician to support our customer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's computer systems by providing technical support and assistance to end-users during Operation Phoenix. This position encompasses troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployment tasks related to workstation hardware, software, and peripherals, including iPad and iPhone devices.

Key Responsibilities:

oProvide timely technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.

oBuild, install, maintain, and acquire desktops, laptops, software, and peripherals across various departments within our client's Companies, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

oReceive work direction from supervisors or more experienced peers on work priorities and daily assignments, adapting to changing priorities as needed.

oEffectively communicate with clients, peers, and supervisors, conveying technical information clearly and professionally to ensure thorough understanding.

oDevelop and maintain positive relationships with clients, peers, and management, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

oCollaborate with Technology Support Services/Managers of Information Technology/IT Development to ensure timely resolution of client issues within current Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

oPerform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management, contributing to the overall success of the IT department and Companies.

Qualifications:

oProven experience in providing technical support for workstation hardware, operating systems, and software applications, including iPad and iPhone devices.

oProficiency in troubleshooting workstation-related issues and diagnosing hardware and software problems.

oExperience with iOS devices and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.

oStrong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, as well as Microsoft Office and other productivity software.

oFamiliarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.

oExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.

oStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

oAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

oRelevant certifications (, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Apple Certified Support Professional) are a plus.

Additional Information:

oThis is a full-time contract position based in KY, covering many office locations throughout the state.

oOccasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet timelines.

oThe successful candidate may occasionally need to lift and move computer equipment, up to 50 pounds.

oThe successful candidate must have reliable transportation. This position will be on the road daily.
