TEKsystems is seeking a skilled and dedicated Workstation Systems Support Technician to join our team supporting a large-scale project for a prominent client.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems by providing technical support and assistance to end-users. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployment tasks related to workstation hardware, software, and peripherals, including iPad and iPhone devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, resolving hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
  • Build, install, maintain, and acquire desktops, laptops, software, and peripherals across various departments, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors, conveying technical information clearly and professionally.
  • Work closely with Technology Support Services/Managers of Information Technology/IT Development to ensure timely resolution of client issues within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management, contributing to the overall success of the IT department.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in providing technical support for workstation hardware, operating systems, and software applications, including iPad and iPhone devices.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting workstation-related issues and diagnosing hardware and software problems.
  • Experience with iOS devices and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, as well as Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Apple Certified Support Professional) are a plus.
