Position Overview: The Behavioral Support Technician (BST) role is crucial within our organization. As a BST, you will execute individualized programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you will assist clients in acquiring essential skills that benefit them and their families.
Some of the focus areas include social skills, communication, vocational training, and daily living skills. We cater to clients ranging from two years old to young adults, providing services in the most suitable environments, which may include therapy centers, homes, schools, workplaces, and community settings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Work Environment: This position operates primarily in a clinical setting, utilizing standard office and audiovisual equipment. Duties may also require travel to offsite locations, including clients' homes, schools, or workplaces. This role is not eligible for telecommuting.
Physical Demands: The physical requirements outlined here represent those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This is an active position that involves working with clients of varying activity levels and requires movement throughout the facility.
The environment is typically bright and lively, which may result in a noisy atmosphere. Regular tasks include talking, listening, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs, and using hands for various activities. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and implement physical management techniques as needed.
