Position: Senior Dual Property Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Position Reports to Area Director of Sales

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Dual Property Sales Manager. 

What will you be doing most days?

Solicits, manages, and coordinates the production of assigned accounts and catering sales activities to maximize overall profits. Responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business. Deep understanding of hotel needs, market trends, and competitors in order to target and grow revenue share strategically.Meets or exceeds set goals in room revenues, catering revenues, and market share. Develops strategies to increase share from competitors when the hotels’ revenue penetration goals are not being met.Assist in developing and implementing of the Business Plan for each hotel’s revenue objectives, including the development of a Market Share Analysis tool (MSA) and Market Segment Planner (MSP). Assists in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner.Assist in directing the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices, ensuring external and internal communications are coordinated and fully distributed to appropriate parties. Uses sales management systems to manage the hotels’ business, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space, and building accounts. Is familiar with all OTO Development Sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing RevPAR, Catering and/or other revenues.Assist in developing and managing a sales team and capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives. Acts as a leader on property and represents hotels and OTO within the hospitality community through appropriate involvement. Maintains regular attendance in compliance with OTO Development standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotels.Attends and conducts sales and property meetings, external meetings and appointments, and additional communications, according to OTO Development standards.

Demonstrated successful sales experience (hotel sales experience a plus)You are action-oriented and have strong negotiating skills to work efficiently and effectively toward property revenue objectives.You have a drive for results in direct efforts of yourself and others to achieve budgeted expectations.You have strong business acumen and you’re passionate about numbers and meeting sales goals.You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.You have a valid driver's license.You have a high school diploma or equivalent with a college degree preferred.You have excellent time management skills to meet commitments across multiple accounts and contacts.

Physical Requirements for this Position

You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.

Travel Requirements

Minimal, occasional travel outside the local area and overnight.
