We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President of Property Management to lead our multifamily portfolio in the Washington DC area. As a critical member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Property Operations: Oversee the management of our multifamily properties, including maintenance, leasing, pricing, resident and retail tenant relations, and vendor management.
- Resident Relations and Customer Experience: Monitor resident retention and satisfaction, develop and implement resident relations strategies, and ensure timely responses to resident inquiries and concerns.
- Leasing and Occupancy Management: Maximize revenue through data-driven decisions, collaborate with the marketing team to increase visibility and leasing opportunities, and maintain a keen awareness of market trends.
- Financial Management and Budgeting: Oversee the portfolio operating budgeting process, approve final site budgets, and provide financial data to management to ensure results are on track with company goals.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Anticipate and assess potential issues, provide strategic and tactical counsel, and ensure compliance with lease agreements, rental laws, and fair housing regulations.
- Culture, Team Leadership, and Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, coach and develop direct reports, and promote a culture of transparency, excellence, and empowerment.
- 15+ years of experience in multifamily residential industry, with 5+ years as a top-line executive managing >5,000 units in a competitive metropolitan market.
- Proven inspirational leadership, strong personal brand, and experience with asset acquisition/disposition due diligence processes.
- Knowledge of current information technology strategies, tools, and software applications, including Yardi experience.
- Solid business acumen, strong financial skills, and experience successfully resolving site employee issues.
- Extensive knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord-tenant issues.
Dweck owns and manages approximately 7,000 multifamily residences in the Washington DC area and is one of the largest apartment owner/managers in Amazon's new neighborhood in National Landing. We believe our greatest assets lie in the talent, commitment, and creativity of our team.
