Job Description

MMP Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all areas defined as part of the Senior Assistant Property Manager job description, and perform property administrator duties if necessary.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and foster positive relationships with tenants and clients.
  • Provide full administrative support, including phone support, typing, reports, filing, and distribution of correspondence.
  • Coordinate office supplies in the absence of a property administrator.
  • Assist in lease administration activities, including abstracting leases and maintaining the database.
  • Ensure all property files, including leases and contracts, are prepared and maintained orderly.
  • Prepare and coordinate bid proposals and service contracts.
  • Obtain aging reports for management and follow up on delinquencies per company policies.
  • Ensure invoices are processed in accounting with appropriate backup and according to procedures.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including furniture delivery and pick-up.
  • Oversee maintenance of work order and purchase order systems.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Tenant Service Package, including tenant handbooks, anniversaries, holiday gifts, park events, newsletters, and training programs.
  • Ensure tenant information in the database is current.
  • Update and maintain office procedures in the property Operations Procedure Manual.
  • Ensure Certificates of Insurance for tenants and vendors are current.
  • Oversee processing of management and maintenance staff hours, expense reports, and check requests.
  • Ensure tenant bill-backs for electrical usage, after-hours HVAC, and similar charges are processed timely.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly financial reports.
  • Lead regular property inspections with service providers.
  • Participate in performance oversight of all service contractors.
Requirements:
  • Focus on Customer Service.

  • Strong Time Management Skills.
  • Proficient in Oral and Written Communication.
  • Ability to Multi-Task.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate property management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates initiative and urgency in daily duties, meeting or improving upon deadlines.
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools, and travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery.
