POSITION: Senior Vice President of Property Oversight

REPORTS TO: Executive Leadership Team

LOCATION: Corporate Headquarters

The UIP Companies, Inc. is a prominent entity in real estate investment, management, and contracting, focusing on multi-family assets within the Washington, DC metropolitan region. We are in search of a Senior Vice President of Property Oversight to spearhead our Asset Management division.

The SVP of Property Oversight will be responsible for the financial performance and operational management of UIP's residential and commercial holdings, providing mentorship to the Asset Management team, and ensuring value creation for both residents and investors through effective budget oversight and strategic initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and pursue strategic objectives for the business unit to drive growth
  • Collaborate with Property Management to surpass investor expectations
  • Conduct business with integrity to enhance company reputation and profitability
STRATEGIC PLANNING & FINANCIAL INSIGHT
  • Implement efficient investment analysis processes
  • Review and assess monthly operational performance and reports
  • Develop annual financial plans and business strategies
  • Conduct market assessments and competitive evaluations
TEAM LEADERSHIP
  • Create succession plans for critical roles
  • Guide, mentor, and supervise team members
  • Encourage professional development and growth
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
  • Ensure staff are well-versed in relevant regulations
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of new employees
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & POLICY MANAGEMENT
  • Review and revise company policies as necessary
  • Maintain insurance coverage and stay updated on legal matters
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders and clients
  • Lead sales initiatives and negotiate contracts for cost efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 15+ years of experience in property management
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
