Position Overview:

The ServiceNow Quality Lead is a lead role within the ServiceNow team responsible for leading a QA team(s) in the planning, implementing, and execution of all aspects of the quality and testing function. This position uses in-depth analysis and test design skills and technologies to work with business stakeholders and project managers to develop and deliver test strategies, test plans, and test cases for multiple projects. Overseeing the QA function, the QA Lead will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues responsible for testing.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of ServiceNow quality assurance testing including establishing and evolving formal QA processes; establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met while meeting or exceeding utilization targets.

Oversee and assist with identifying, diagnosing and tracking software defects from discovery to resolution.

Establish and develop ServiceNow test strategy, methodologies, test plans, scripts, procedures as well as lead and assist with test execution and automation

Migrate existing  test cases or create new test cases and automate them to support end-to-end business processes effectively and efficiently

Manage multiple competing priorities while driving resolution and getting results

Collect and report quality metrics from test execution for continuous improvement

Work with developers and BSAs to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them

Support developers in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments

Perform the role of Critical Escalation Manager

Lead and mentor QA team performance and provide feedback to ensure timelines and deliverables are met

 

Qualifications:
Expertise in migrating manual processes towards automation

Advanced working knowledge of test engineering processes and methodologies; Expertise in test planning, test case management, code coverage, defect analysis and automation testing

5+ years experience in testing ServiceNow modules - CSM, ITSM, HRSD, HAM, ITOM, etc 

3+ experience in building and managing automated tests within the ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework (ATF)

Previous experience leading QA team function at a large, complex company

Significant hands-on experience in project management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles

Thorough understanding of the complete test lifecycle including performance testing and automation testing

Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills combined with flexibility working in a dynamic, fast moving product development environment

Highly effective collaborator, communicator and problem solver

Highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks across multiple projects.

As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Pay Range:
