We are offering a part-time contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Rye Brook, New York. This role involves various administrative and clerical tasks.


Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle incoming customer inquiries and offer solutions.

• Schedule appointments and make reservations as necessary.

• Maintain and update customer records with high accuracy.

• Assist in tidying up and maintaining cleanliness in the workplace, including the kitchen area.

• Handle mail and courier needs, including UPS/FedEx.

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy.

• Support in typing up notes and other documentation.

• Perform general clerical tasks as required.

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook for communication and organization purposes.

• Ensure all customer accounts are monitored and necessary actions are taken.

• Possess a strong acumen for the Engineering industry
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing high call volumes
• Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and other MS Office applications
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and manage a complex calendar
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
• Experience in administrative roles is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
