Business Development Representative

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential clients. Your expertise in technical sales and customer service will be essential in promoting our technology solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
Shift Hrs. 7:00am-4:00pm M-F
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients, and decision makers within the client organization.
- Responsible for all stages of the sales cycle: Prospecting, introduction, qualifying, presentation, objections, quote and close.
- Follow-up on customer sample requests, proposals or quotes.
- Make high volume outbound calls to prospect potential new clients to gain the business.
- Develop strategic relationships with existing customers in an effort to increase market share with products and services by adding additional product lines.
- Answer inbound sales calls and make outbound sales calls (including cold calling)
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Enter sales orders and proof invoices
- Track stock levels to ensure customers’ orders are handled effectively
- Follow up and document all customer interactions
- Assist Operations with any special needs
- Reports to the Business Development Manager and supervisor, providing regular input on all account activity, including status on a weekly basis
- Meeting and exceeding individual sales goals
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested
Education and Experience:
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of business-to-business sales experience with an emphasis on product sales.
- Good organizational skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel, and Power Point.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
