Office Assistant

We are offering a contract for an Office Assistant position in Palo Alto, California. This role is in the education industry and requires presence in the workplace a few days a week.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process transcripts and diplomas, ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Handle verification tasks including mailing of diplomas and processing verifications.
• Respond to inbound phone calls, providing information about transcripts and diplomas.
• Acknowledge and record all phone interactions for future reference.
• Provide administrative support to the Registrar's Office.
• Use accounting software systems and CRM tools to maintain accurate department records.
• Employ knowledge of computer programs like Banner Ads and 'About Time' for efficient task completion.
• Perform clerical duties as needed, including billing functions.
• Actively engage in educational assistance tasks.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Ability to create and manage Banner Ads is desirable.
• Proficiency in using Computer Programs is a must.
• Experience in using CRM systems is crucial.
• Familiarity with About Time software is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for Answering Inbound Calls.
• Must be able to handle Billing Functions effectively.
• Proficiency in performing Clerical Duties is required.
• Experience in managing Department Records is necessary.
• Capability of Verification tasks is important.
• Willingness to provide Educational Assistance when needed.
