Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will work across three different departments: wash line, storage (probox production), and stack and store. Your primary duties will involve cleaning used boxes, moving totes, repairing totes, and handling up to 200 boxes per shift. You will also load, unload, and stage boxes, using scanners and SAP to track inventory. Additional tasks include cleanup, stacking lids and bins, and operating a forklift for 30-60% of your shift if assigned to that area. The role requires lifting up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Clean out used boxes
  • Move and repair totes
  • Handle up to 200 boxes per shift
  • Stack empty boxes up to 9 high and full boxes 4-5 high
  • Load, unload, and stage boxes for pickup
  • Use scanners to track and trace inventory
  • Use SAP to perform material lookups
  • Perform various production technician duties such as clean up, stacking lids and bins
  • Operate a forklift for 30-60% of the shift if assigned
  • Lift up to 65 lbs
Essential Skills
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, crop harvest, or construction
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs
  • Basic computer skills (Excel)
  • Willingness to work overtime
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift experience is helpful
  • Basic data entry skills using Microsoft Word or Excel

Work Environment

The role is based in a crop manufacturing facility with a clean environment. If you have food allergies, this may not be the best fit. The facility is non-smoking and involves incoming and outgoing production style manufacturing. The shifts available are: 1st shift (6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday), 2nd shift (2 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday), and 3rd shift (10 pm to 6:30 am, Sunday - Thursday). These are seasonal positions with long-term temp work and a chance to go permanent only on internal opening.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
