Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry of collections. Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, this role involves a specialist focus on collections and invoice maintenance. The successful candidate will work in a non-customer facing environment, primarily over the phone, to assist our service department.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and maintaining customer credit applications and records with precision and efficiency
• Regularly monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions
• Handling both current and older invoices to ensure they are received by the correct person and entered into the system for payment
• Regularly following up on invoices to avoid any delays in payments and to ensure they are received by the right person
• Resolving any invoice discrepancies and customer inquiries efficiently
• Utilizing accounting software systems for invoice reconciliation and collection processes
• Answering inbound calls related to billing functions and accounts receivable
• Adapting to software changes as the team transitions to new systems
• Maintaining a firm yet delicate approach when dealing with current clients.

The successful candidate will need to have experience with Accounting Software Systems, Accounts Receivable (AR), Answering Inbound Calls, Billing Functions, Collection Processes, Invoice Discrepancies, and Invoice reconciliation.• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Ability to handle and respond to inbound calls effectively
• Experience in executing Billing Functions with a high level of accuracy
• Understanding of Collection Processes and best practices
• Ability to identify and resolve Invoice Discrepancies
• Experience in Invoice Reconciliation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
