We are in the process of recruiting a Human Resources (HR) Assistant for our team based in York, Pennsylvania, United States. This role is pivotal in supporting our HR and Safety Department, with a key focus on data entry, time sheet auditing, and tracking Paid Time Off (PTO). This position also includes secretarial duties for the Safety Committee and the upkeep of OSHA documents. We offer a contract to permanent employment opportunity for this role. Entry-Level candidates are encouraged to apply


Responsibilities

• Conduct data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Audit time sheet data on a regular basis to ensure correct reporting

• Keep track of employee PTO efficiently

• Provide general administrative support to the HR and Safety Department

• Assume the role of secretary for the Safety Committee on a monthly basis

• Ensure proper record retention of OSHA documents

• Maintain accurate meeting minutes for the Safety Committee

• Utilize customer service skills to resolve inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

• Proven experience in a similar role within the HR department or Proficiency in customer service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with data entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

• Familiarity with HR software and databases.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
