About the Job

The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources unit by preparing job vacancy notices, maintaining personnel files, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare job vacancy notices for FISA-OPA vacancies
  • Maintain FISA-OPA human resources paper and electronic files
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including typing HR-related letters and reports
  • Enter and update personnel transactions into NYCAPS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and three years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • One year of administrative or supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary Information:

$57,000 per year
